Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened.

4IM…We started as a class of 46 distinct students until we’re down to 33, who all managed to pull through with the stress and pressure coupled with the learning. Our relationship with each other is beyond words and indescribable I must say. We know in ourselves that the kind of rapport we have established during our four years of being together isn’t that intimate. But hey, come to think of the positive edge of it. It would have been difficult for us to say goodbye, and it would have been harder to finish it off in that instant, but see it was easier, right? And looking back to the parting days, smiles were more prevalent instead of tears. We may not be like the other classes, but I know for a fact that with the cover of time we spent in College, we enjoyed every minute of it. We may have never experienced eating in McDonald’s as one class, we may have never had some getaways in beaches during semestral breaks, or we may have never found time to sit, chat and gossip around the soccerfield…but what’s great is that when we’re in the bounds of our classroom, we just realize how we can all suddenly laugh about certain gags and our humors just simply agree. Probably that’s what I’d be missing from this - all the absurd and silly matters that cause us to get along together even for a little while.

We are merely a cluster of certain people from different walks of life - Some are superior, some are humane, some are laidback and some are just lax. However, I’m delighted that of our diverse characters, together we made it from our initial moment of orientation ‘til finally our graduation rites. That in isolation gave me an impression that somehow we had a bond and at once, we together welcomed the consequence of our great efforts. I am proud to have encountered people as such, and I am pleased to have taken part in your lives during my stay in UST. As we shift into a new route, just take note of the things which made you grow as mature people and I do hope for an excellent luck in all your soon-to-conquer ventures.

To everyone…be well, do good work, and keep in touch.

Angelica :)
